- Verticillium Lecanii is a naturally occurring fungus
- It is a common pathogen of scale insects in tropical and subtropical climates
- V. lecanii is known as a "white-halo" fungus because of the white mycelial growth on the edges of infected scale insects

MODE OF ACTION
- The spores gets attached to the cuticle and enters into the cuticle of the insects
- It infects the insect by producing hyphae from germinating spores
- It penetrates into the insect and destroys the internal body of the insects
- In the insect body toxin is produced i.e. Bassianolide which kills the insect in 4-6 days

- Fruit crops: Grapes, Guava, Sapota, Citrus, Mango, Pomegranate, Custard Apple, Banana, Apple, Coconut etc
- Field Crops: Cotton, Paddy, Sorghum, Sunflower, Groundnut, Potato, Mustard, Cumin etc

DOSAGE
- 500g/acre on less than 25 days crops (Foliar spray)
- 750g/acre, in between 26-50 days (Foliar spray)
